Laura is originally from Michigan and moved to Florida in 1984, following her parents and brother who moved in 1981. She has worked in the country club atmosphere since 1989, starting out as a server/ bartender at Eagle Creek Golf and Country Club. She was promoted to Dining Room Manager and held that position for 5 years. She was then brought into accounting as the accounts payable clerk and a year later became the Assistant Controller. She has three grown daughters and 2 grandsons. She likes to spend her free time reading and making jewelry and has taught several jewelry making classes.
